From time-to-time, we employ summer interns to help with any and every part of our Account Directors’ day-to-day activities—from planning to completion. Interns primarily focus on assisting with marketing execution, including writing and editing content for a variety of purposes and media, shooting and editing basic videos, and developing social and editorial calendars.
Our ideal candidate has 1 year or less before graduating with a bachelor’s degree in communications or marketing. The goal is for this person to learn from our process and potentially join our team. This person must be organized, self-motivated, and eager to continually learn and grow within a collaborative culture.
Responsibilities:
Assist account team with the following tasks:
Write marketing copy (this includes writing for press releases, emails, social posts, landing pages, website pages and other written pieces)
Edit basic videos for a variety of platforms, including social media and TV
Update and manage client social and editorial calendars, adhering to deadlines
Coordinate with designers to create visual content
Report on analytics for Facebook, Google ads, email, website traffic, etc.
Participate in content discussions and brainstorms, and help develop robust content strategies
Requirements:
Ideally a college junior or senior, but we will consider college students at any level
Highly organized and meticulous with details
Engaging writer and idea generator
Proactive and solution-oriented – focused on recommending solutions before problems happen
Exhibit passion for the work – be willing to work with our team, share ideas, and learn
Job Type: Full or part time from June 1 - August 15, in our Hutchinson office location.
Compensation: Hourly, negotiable based on experience.
