The Summit Reaches New Heights with Updated Brand


As a physician-owned healthcare facility located in Hutchinson, Kansas, The Summit offers a variety of services in one location, including Summit Surgical, Rehabilitation and Sports Performance, Summit Imaging, Alliance Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, Capstone Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, and The Woman’s Place. With so many services and specialties to communicate, The Summit needed a cohesive, compelling brand to reflect their state-of-the-art facilities, highly qualified medical staff and patient-friendly environment.  


“We especially struggled with lack-luster recruiting, job post visibility and finding quality applicants,” said Stephanie Trumpp, Director of Human Resources, The Summit. “I’d worked with BowerComm while at a different organization, and knew they had the skills to help us really dig into what we need to communicate and create a brand that attracts new employees and patients.”  

The Summit worked with BowerComm to complete the Journey to Yes program, a 9-step process that helps organizations Discover the needs of their stakeholders through in-depth interviews, Define their brand foundation and message, and Develop a strategy to bring it all together. 


While the logo remained the same, an enhanced color palette and energized messaging embracing the phrase, “Good to Go,” gave The Summit a new look and feel. A refreshed website including a new careers page with video testimonials from current employees helps showcase the benefits of working at The Summit.
