Through our Journey to Yes process, we helped the City of Clearwater illuminate their unique value proposition as the “neighbor capital of the world” which was designed to draw families to build their dream lives in Clearwater. We developed a recruitment campaign, which we communicated through an updated visual identity and strategic marketing plan.

THE CHALLENGE
  • Attracting targeted audiences, such as young families, ”boomerang” residents returning to Clearwater, and Wichita residents looking for a simpler lifestyle.

  • Shifting current residents’ perceptions of the City of Clearwater.

  • Create unique and compelling reasons for potential residents to live in the community.

OUR APPROACH

BowerComm developed comprehensive, tailored communication strategies for each campaign, combining clear messaging with strong community-focused narratives. The core tactics included:

  • Create audience-specific content focused on lifestyle, housing, and opportunities in Clearwater that are tailored to each target group.

  • Target high-potential audiences across the Midwest to consider moving to Clearwater.

  • Develop a City of Clearwater Living Guide. This guide provides essential information about the benefits of Clearwater and to be used as a free lead magnet for the campaign.

THE OUTCOME
  • Increased audience engagement with content specifically promoting the benefits of living in Clearwater.

  • Collected 241 for the Living Guide, expanding the City of Clearwater’s reach to potential newcomers.

  • Generated 476,322 ad impressions and brough in 5,290 website visits in a two-month period.
